Celebrating Member Achievements
Our 4T Team members have been making waves in recent events, showcasing their dedication and hard work. Let's celebrate their incredible accomplishments!
Triumphs at Recent Triathlons
The Torbay Relay saw an impressive turnout from our club, with 8 athletes taking on the challenge. This event was particularly special as it marked the first-ever triathlon for Doug and Becky.
Both newcomers demonstrated remarkable strength and determination. Doug's post-race comment, "My legs hurt," as he ran into T2, perfectly captures the intensity of the experience. Becky echoed this sentiment, noting that in some ways, the triathlon was more challenging than CrossFit.
Paul and Fiona also completed their first Sprint triathlon of the season on the Sunday at Torbay Velo park, testing out their winter training. Paul is preparing for the British Championships and Fiona is racing alongside Lou at the Nottingham Outlaw.
The performances at both events are a testament to the versatility of our training programs and the supportive environment we foster at 4T Team.
Well done to all participants!
Lou's Age Group Win
A huge congratulations to Lou for her outstanding performance at the Exeter Trail Half Marathon in late March. Not only did she complete this challenging course, but she also clinched first place in her age group!
This achievement is a clear indication that Lou's training is paying off as she prepares for the upcoming Nottingham Outlaw on May 17th.
Lou's success has sparked enthusiasm within the team. Juliette recently completed the Coast Trail Half Marathon, and Bea Wilkey has been inspired to set her sights on a full marathon in 2026. It's wonderful to see our members pushing their limits and setting new goals!
